The MS series of ABB servo motors is ideal for operation with the ABB high performance machinery drives. The motor is robust and suitable for operation in harsh environmental conditions. The resolver feedback is highly reliable, even under demanding mechanical stress levels and in high ambient temperatures. The series comprises four frame sizes, each available in various lengths, totaling ten variants. Ready-made power and feedback cables are also available. The motors are delivered from stock, guaranteeing quick and reliable delivery.

ABB Servo motor 9C series

The 9C range is a new generation of brush less motors for Machinery Industry and any high dynamics application.

Motors are manufactured with most advanced technology:

High Precision Control
ECMA series servo motors feature incremental encoder with 20-bit resolution (1280000 pulses/revolution). Existing functions to meet the requirements from delicate process have been enhanced. Stable rotation at low speed has also been achieved.
Up to 1kHz frequency response. Settling time below 1ms.

Features

High-resolution encoder with 17-bit (160,000 p/rev) is equipped as a standard feature which satisfies the application needs of high precision positioning control and stable rotation at low speed.
Support pulse input (up to 4Mbps) and analog voltage two kinds of command.
Built-in position, speed and torque three control modes (speed and torque mode could be controlled via internal parameters or analog voltage command).
There auto notch filters are provided to suppress the mechanical resonance automatically and make the system operate more smoothly.

Offer Easy-To-Install Solution for Simple Start-Up

Motor sizing software is offered for the customers to conduct the estimation of the equipment conveniently.
ASDA-Soft configuration software (tuning software) is provided for the customers to meet the performance requirements quickly.
Easy-to-use digital keypad is ideal for setting parameters and monitoring the servo drive and motor directly.
Servo motor provides brake, oil seal etc. optional configurations for the requirements of different applications.
